UK bank Lloyds TSB is shifting more jobs to India after deciding to close an administration and customer service centre operated by its mortgage provider Cheltenham & Gloucester (C&G).
Lloyds TSB says C&G's back office centre in Warwick will close by the end of 2006.
The centre currently employs 350 people and the jobs will be transferred to two other sites in the UK and to Lloyds TSB's operations in India.
The bank, which has implemented an extensive offshoring programme, expects to employ 2500 staff at its Indian operations by the end of the year.
