Citigroup's Global Transaction Services (GTS) division has appointed Ken Back to the newly created position of managing director of strategic solutions for the Emea region.

In his new role Back will assume responsibility for structuring and managing outsourcing transactions with key clients and developing GTS's product offering to the asset management sector.

Back joins Citigroup from ISIS Asset Management where he served as COO and executive director.

His previous experience includes senior client relationship management and operational roles within State Street Bank & Trust and Clerical Medical Investment Group in London.

Back will report to Tom Abraham, MD, global head of strategic solutions, Citigroup GTS.

The GTS division has also named Neil Coxhead VP, client relationship manager for UK managed funds and Cathal O'Daly as VP, client relationship manager for Irish financial institutions.

Coxhead joins Citigroup from Bank of New York where he held relationship management positions within the bank's funds business. He will be based in London and report to director, Kamal Jandu.

O'Daly was previously at Northern Trust where he held a number of positions including trustee services manager, regulatory affairs manager and relationship manager.

In his new role O'Daly will report to Terry Alleyne, director, Citigroup Ireland financial institutions.
