Scandinavian financial services group Nordea has appointed Magnus Norrström head of group IT, replacing Jarle Haug who will become head of the group's new lean banking division.
Norrström, 44, joins Nordea from Accenture in Stockholm where he was a partner in the financial services practice managing delivery projects in the Nordic region. He will take up his new position on 12th September 2005.
Haug was appointed head of the bank's IT operations in 2002. In his new role, Haug will head up the group's new lean banking unit, which will be responsible for groupwide lean transformation, including concepts, methodology, competence and planning.
