Parlano says its IM system enables firms to establish group messaging forums that go beyond multiparty instant messaging. MindAlign group messaging forums can be used to connect an unlimited number of users, aligning them by topic, or a particular functional group. This allows teams throughout an organisation to effectively coordinate business activity across multiple operating units and geographies.

Stuart Berwick, head of e-sales, DrKW, says the IM technology will "improve the effectiveness of the communication process between the bank's sales, trading and research operations to further help DrKW both identify and maximise opportunities across the international capital markets".
