LogicaCMG has appointed IBM's Lode Snykers as managing director of its international financial services business.
Snykers spent more than 25 years at IBM in a variety of roles, latterly as global relationship partner for AXA Group.
While at IBM in Belgium and Luxembourg, he had executive responsibility for the system integration and consulting business. Increasingly from the late 1980s, Snykers concentrated on financial services with clients including KBC, Fortis, Euroclear, Swift and AXA.
In his new role, Snykers will be responsible for the development and execution of LogicaCMG's global strategy in the financial services sector.
