UK banking systems vendor Financial Objects has elevated Stewart Foster and Karim Peermohamed to the board in new roles overseeing the ActiveBank division and wealth amangement businesses respectively.

Foster, one of the original designers of the activebank product, will be assuming the position of managing director, activeBank division. A former JPMorgan man and seven-year Financial Objects veteran, Foster established the company's partner programme and has been responsible for setting up the offshore development centre in Bangalore.

Peermohamed will become managing director of the wealth management division, created following the recent acquisition of Wealth Management Software. Peermohamed has over 18 years' experience in the financial services industry and has held various roles within Financial Objects over a period of seven years, including global sales director, international director and director of the Americas region. Before joining Financial Objects he worked at Kindle Banking Systems, Kapiti and National Westminster Bank.
