Online payments firm PayPal has poached Scott Thompson from Visa's technology subsidiary Invosant to head up its own technology operations.
Thompson is joining PayPal as senior vice president and chief technology officer (CTO).
He was previously executive vice president of technology solutions at Inovant where he was responsible for development, support and maintenance of Visa's global payment system.
