Oracle is to integrate the American Express corporate purchasing card platform into its E-Business Suite in an initiative to enable streamlined payment and reconciliation between buyers and sellers online.
The introduction of the American Express corporate purchasing card will eliminate the need for invoices and cheques and will help speed the migration of transactions online, the companies say. This interoperability will facilitate the process of order placement, fulfillment, reconciliation, data management and program maintenance, claim Oracle and AmEx.
