The bank will use the technology to manage its move the legacy X.25 network to the interactive SwiftNet system.

Dick Korpel, assisting managing director, Kas Bank, says: "We were looking for the most effective way to achieve our SwiftNet migration timescales and SunGard demonstrated both the capability and the flexibility that we needed. We are confident that Mint will deliver a real advantage to our financial message processing operations."

SunGard says the bank will not need to purchase any additional integration or gateway software as part of the project since Mint contains all the necessary connectivity modules.
