California-based market data technology firm VhaYu Technologies has appointed SunGard Business Integration's Andy Williams to the newly created role of vice president, worldwide field operations.
Williams served as managing director at SunGard Business Integration, delivering post-trade and Swift solutions.
He joined SunGard from trading technology vendor Nyfix, where he was senior vice president, global sales. Prior to this Williams was senior vice president, global sales at Javelin Technologies.
Williams has also held management positions at IBM Corporation, Payments Technology Company, Bottomline Technologies and GForce Systems.
In his new role, Williams will be responsible for customer-facing activities and will report to VhaYu's CEO Jeff Hudson.
