Standard Chartered Bank is implementing London-based Optial's compliance management software across its global operations.

Standard Chartered rolls out Optial's compliance software

The bank will use the Optial platform to track and manage compliance with regulations in the UK and other countries.

Andrew Hunter, group head of compliance and regulatory risk, Standard Chartered, says: "Optial allows us to link compliance control measures with applicable laws, regulations and policy standards, in the jurisdictions in which we operate, allowing us to proactively manage the compliance requirements of the bank."

So far, the system has been rolled out to over 1300 users across 10 countries. The vendor says the bank is planning to extend the platform to a further 20 countries.
