Wells Fargo is rolling out cheque-imaging technology from Dallas-based Carreker Corporation across the enterprise.
The US bank has licensed Carreker's Image Inspector, Image Statements and IRD (image replacement documents) Authoring products.
The technology will provide new and standardised image management capabilities that can be used across a wide range of the bank's existing imaging applications.
Webb Edwards, president of Wells Fargo Services, says the software will enable the bank to ensure image quality, provide customers with expanded image statement options and manage IRD creation.
