Chicago-based hedge fund Balyasny Asset Management has licensed SunGard Trading and Risk Systems' Panorama platform to manage its trading and risk management operations.
SunGard says its Panorama system is capable of supporting desk-level and firm-wide requirements and provides real-time trading and risk tools to the desktop.
The system provides an infrastructure to help firms consolidate risks and exposures across all strategies. Panorama supports all asset types used in multi-strategy funds, from high volume exchange traded products to convertibles to fixed income and all derivatives.
