India's Punjab National Bank has contracted with Tata Consultancy Services for the supply and implementation of PeopleSoft's Enterprise Human Capital Management software.
The technology will be rolled out across the bank's controlling offices and will be used to provide human resource services to its 54,000 current and 10,000 retired employees worldwide.
The system streamlines HR applications processes and enables firms to deploy self service applications, allowing staff to access and manage personal HR information.
Mr S Kohli, chairman, Punjab National Bank, says: "Through this PeopleSoft solution implemented by TCS, we will be able to streamline our HR processes and consequently enhance our overall productivity."
