HSBC Private Bank has licensed analytical software from Brainpower to support its client advisory services in five countries.
The software will be used by the bank's Investment Advisory Group in Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Switzerland, UK and US to develop generic fund selection strategies and on-demand analysis of single securities and portfolios.
The vendor says the ability to support multi-national data sources and share data, strategies, analytics and reports across multiple geographies and teams was a crucial requirement of the bank.
HSBC has signed a three-year licence agreement for an undisclosed amount.
