Thomson Financial has extended its relationship with its primary news provider Dow Jones by agreeing a variety of new distribution packages in Europe, Asia and North America.

Subscribers to the Thomson ONE open package in Europe and Asia, will now receive the Dow Jones Financial Wire, a real-time service providing coverage of markets, companies and events, and one of a selection of Dow Jones' local-language news services. These include Dutch-, French-, German-, Italian-, Portuguese-, Spanish-, Japanese- and Chinese-language services. Customers that need global, real-time fixed-income, currency and money-markets news will receive Dow Jones Economic Report, while Dow Jones NewsPlus Global Equities will provide users with an at-a-glance view of the day’s top stories.

In the North American markets the two vendors have extended their distribution agreement for an additional four years. Dow Jones News Service will continue to be available as an optional service on Thomson ONE, and Capital Markets Report will be included with the fixed income analytics platform Thomson ONE Yield.
