The 3000 Xtra desktop will replace a third party front-end system at the bank and will be rolled out to 70 positions. Jyske Bank says the system will be used widely across its trading floor and market analysis department.

RMDS, which manages financial content in real-time across trading environments, will be deployed by the bank to feed the 3000 Xtra product as well as other in-house applications, including its risk management system. Per Molgaard Andersen, head of market data management, Jyske Bank, says: "RMDS will enable us to integrate data to a much higher extent than we are currently able to do."

The bank will also be upgrading its existing Reuters 2000 datafeed to the latest version of the product.

Loris Barisa, MD at Reuters for the Nordics and Baltics, comments: "By taking RMDS together with an upgraded datafeed and Reuters 3000 Xtra, Jyske Bank will benefit from an enterprise wide solution that delivers a flexible data distribution system together with a premium desktop and a wealth of value added data and analytics."
