CLSA deploys Cameron engine for FIX connectivity to Indian exchanges

CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets, a Hong Kong-based subsidiary of Credit Lyonnais, is installing Cameron Systems' flagship CameronFIX engine to provide its clients with FIX connectivity to India's Mumbai and National stock exchanges.

The Cameron engine has been integrated with Tata Consulting's trading system to provide institutional investors with FIX connectivity to the exchanges, both of which are in Mumbai.

Rajah T, chief information officer, CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets, says: "The CameronFIX engine has proven to be very reliable in meeting our business needs to date."

Commenting on the implementation, Australian vendor Cameron Systems says it was able to deliver the flexibility and support that CLSA required.
