Chicago-based Trading Technologies is offering dealers in continental Europe a free 90-day trial of its X_Trader front-end software which provides connectivity to Eurex's futures exchange in the US.
Swiss German derivatives exchange Eurex said last week that its US exchange can now be accessed by traders in Belgium, Finland, Germany, Gibraltar, Ireland, Sweden Switzerland and the UK.
As well as providing direct access to Eurex US, the X-trader front-end can be used to connect to Eurex's European exchange as well as Deutsche Börse's electronic trading platform, Xetra.
Eurex announced a connectivity agreement with Trading Technologies in December. Under the deal Eurex and TT agreed to offer their mutual customers access to Eurex US through X_Trader for 24 months at no extra cost.
