Risk management software vendor Raft International has appointed David Millar as managing director of its UK operations.
Miller has upwards of 20 years' experience in delivering systems to the finance industry. He has managed units at Logica and at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and has spent the last few years as an independent consultant, providing advice and training in all areas of operational risk management.
In his new role, Millar will be responsible for driving sales of Raft's operational risk and credit risk products as well as growing the vendor's the professional services business in the UK.
London-based Raft recently warned that its first half results for 2004 will be hit by weaknesses in the dollar and delays in closing new business.
