South African banking group Absa is installing JPMorgan Treasury Services' Web-based operational risk management software, JPMorgan Horizon, across the enterprise.
Absa says it chose JPMorgan Horizon for its ability to create and control transparency across the group's business lines.
Gert van Wyk, Absa's general manager, operational risk and assurance, and chief auditor, says: "The real value of Horizon lies within the opportunity to use it as a day-to-day risk management tool at business level."
The group is the first in the African market to license the JPMorgan Horizon platform.
