BBH established Infomediary in February 2001 to provide investment managers with connectivity services. The firm currently has 22 clients based in the US, Europe and Asia.

Infomediary provides a single connectivity point between financial service companies and external service providers and takes in data in any electronic format, normalises it and then translates, transforms and transmits the information over the Swift Network or via a proprietary connection.

The firm joins a select number of industry suppliers officially recognised by Swift as providing end-to-end solutions to clients through consultancy, system integration and project management.

Taylor Bodman, partner of BBH and head of BBH Infomediary, says the accreditation from Swift "accurately describes a major feature of Infomediary's offering, namely the ability to integrate our customers' operations with Swift and other networks".
