Logica and Point ally for e-CRM

Logica is to extend its partnership with Point Information Systems to offer CRM solutions to banks based on the newly-launched e-point 5 family. The Point software will be integrated with Logica's own 'Q Channels' retail banking products, including Quaestor, Qi, and QCards.

Nick Baines, managing director of Logica's international financial products business says: "Logica and Point Information Systems have been extremely successful together in the telecoms sector and we now have our first joint financial services client in Boca Raton, Florida with the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI)."

He says the partnership marries Point's "seller side" technology with Logica's "teller side" solutions.

Under the agreement, Logica will co-develop finance-specific software applications with Point and also train a "substantial number" of staff in the implementation of multi-channel CRM, says Baines.
