Standard Chartered Bank has signed a licensing and servicing agreement for Fincentric Corporation's retail banking and wealth management system, Wealthview.

Standard Chartered purchased the license through its recently acquired online bank 20twenty, which has used the Wealthview platform since its launch in 2001.

Christo Davel, Standard Chartered's head of consumer banking in South Africa, says: "Fincentric's Wealthview Banking will become an important technology platform for Standard Chartered's long-term expansion in South Africa."
