Penson Worldwide, a provider of clearing, custody, and settlement services has appointed SunGard's Chris Gregory as director of execution services, based in London.
Gregory was previously a managing director at SunGard Global Execution Services where he was instrumental in building and launching SunGard's electronic, direct-access broker service.
Prior to this, he was head of US member services at Tradepoint Stock Exchange (the precursor to Virt-X) in New York.
In his new role, Gregory will be responsible for extending Penson's electronic clearing and execution services in Europe.
