Transact, a UK provider of wrap services, is rolling out Morningstar's investment planning system, Advisor Workstation, and reporting tool, Portfolio X-ray, to its network of independent financial advisers (IFAs).
Under the agreement, Transact users will have access to Morningstar's Web-based asset allocation and risk assessment tools, fund research, online investment analysis and client report-writing tools.
Portfolio X-Ray provides analysis based on each fund's asset holdings by highlighting the client's current asset allocation, style box diversification, sector and geographical weightings as well as stock overlap.
Advisor Workstation offers services including client risk and needs' assessment, fund research and portfolio back testing.
