Lycos UK launches comparative account aggregation service

Editorial

The service, called Lycos My Accounts is based on moneysupermarket's View My Accounts service, a comparative account aggregation system which enables users to compare their current personal finance products with those of alternative providers and apply online.

Alex Kovach, managing director, Lycos UK and Ireland, says: "Moneysupermarket is providing a relevant, useful Web-based tool which not only enables users to manage their money but gives them exposure to competitive products and services."

Moneysupermarket.com is offering the service to partner firms for free, on top of its existing product aggregation layer. The company doesn't charge upfront or per user fees but does take a revenue share on any products sold via the service.

The Lycos service will accessed via a link to its money channel on its UK home page.
