International depository Clearstream has added 15 new enhancements to its CreationOnline reporting and enquiry service, including multi-user capability; multi-criteria queries; back-to-back transaction linking and information on multiple depositories for securities listed on several exchanges
CreationOnline is the interactive Web-browser interface to Clearstream's settlement platform Creation. The depository says the new feautres were added following direct feedback from users.
Since its launch in September 2002, Clearstream says customer adoption rates have been steadily climbing and now there are over 6000 daily users from several hundred financial institutions.
Trade instructions input by customers has almost trebled in the last six months, says Clearstream, and the usage of the online query functionality has doubled in the same period with the inclusion of critical tax refund and income pre-advice data.
