UK building society Bradford & Bingley has extended its existing outsourcing contract with IBM to include its internal mortgage processing division and online mortgage broker Charcol Online.
Under the agreement, IBM will deliver Application Management Services (AMS) in an 'on-demand' fashion according to business needs. It follows from an original IT outsourcing contract struck between building society and vendor in 1998 and subsequently extended in April 2002.
Steve Partington of Bradford and Bingley, says the on-demand approach to IT services "gives us the flexibility to adjust rapidly to changing business needs".
