Nomad Software has won a contract to deliver a card payment system based on its processing software Cortex to ING Romania.
John Yeomans, CEO, Nomad Software, says the system will enable ING to offer payment products that will meet existing consumer demand and provide the company with a platform for future growth.
Nomad Software says increased consumer demand for debit and credit cards and online financial services is prompting financial institutions in Eastern Europe to upgrade existing payment architecture or introduce new scalable and secure e-payment systems.
