Experian in the Netherland has sold its business process outsourcing (BPO) operations to LogicaCMG, for an undisclosed sum.
Experian Netherlands has sold the part of the business that provides BPO services, including applications processing, to financial firms. Under the deal 140 Experian employees will be transfereed to LogicaCMG.
Reinoud Drenth, managing director of LogicaCMG's managed services division, says by combining BPO with its application management services, the company can offer clients a structural cost reduction and higher service levels.
Experian currently provides services for a handful of financial services firms in the Netherlands and says it sold the BPO operations in order to focus on its information solutions and credit referencing businesses.
