CheckFree Financial and Compliance Solutions (CFACS) says it is in discussions with several early adopter firms to develop a browser-based upgrade to its enterprise-level securities reconciliation software Recon-Plus Frontier.
The firm says the new module has the power to handle all of a bank's reconciliation activities on one platform, even if those functions are distributed across different operations centres around the globe. The browser-based system will give bank executives and line managers single view access to transaction status and current position information.
Steve Engdahl, director of product management at CFACS says: "We now invite forward-thinking firms to join us in the next phase of the Frontier revolution, fully browser-based securities reconciliation."
Launched in May 2002, Recon-Plus Frontier is now in use at nearly a dozen financial institutions worldwide.
