French bank Natexis Banques Populaires has licensed NEOMAlogic's Web-based trade finance software, Global Trade Portal, for use by its corporate clients.
The bank will initially use the online trade finance system to enable its corporate customers to process import letters of credit, although the platform also supports export letters of credit, import and export documentary collections, bankers and shipping guarantees, financing requests and fund transfers.
Marie-Helene Spillemaecker, head of marketing, international corporates and financial institutions, Natexis Banques Populaires, says: "By selecting NEOMAlogic's Global Trade Portal, we have primarily chosen to satisfy the demands of our clients by providing them with an open, user-friendly and proven solution."
