The Vitria:BusinessWare integration platform will be used by Casse Rurali of the Trento area and approximately 80 Banks of Credito Cooperativo to convert old RNI formats and access the Swift financial network in line with compliance requirements laid down by the Bank of Italy.

When deployment is completed, 70% of all the banks of Credito Cooperativo in the north-eastern region are expected to use the Vitria platform for a variety of banking transactions, from simple payment management to large capital transactions.

Fabrizio Lorenzini, responsible for software development in the Internet area of Phoenix Informatica, comments: "The platform enables us to offer to our 130 banking clients an advanced technology solution that meets the requirements of Swift and the Bank of Italy, while significantly improving their competitive advantage."
