Thales reports Spanish EMV orders

Electronic transactions group Thales is reporting significant EMV-compatible Chip and PIN terminal sales with Spanish operators Sistema 4B, SERMEPA and Euro6000.

Local stores in the dark over chip and PIN

Nearly half the local stores in the UK have taken no action to install technology capable of handling chip and PIN card payments in time for the end-of-year switchover.
