Black Horse, part of the Lloyds TSB Group, has introduced ID verification technology from GB Group to improve the speed and accuracy of customer authentication processes for online loan applicants.

The majority of consumers applying for loans through Black Horse Finance today are authenticated using URU - an online ID verification application that is powered by GB Group's ID3 matching technology - which can simultaneously verify personal data and the authenticity of common proofs of identity such as a driving licence or passport.
