UK retailer Marks & Spencer turned to Aconite for advice on the development of a comprehensive security architecture to support its move to a new Web-based communications platform.
Working alongside Aconite provided Marks & Spencer with a solid foundation for their IT security programme.
Graeme Eales, senior security architect, Marks & Spencer, says of the experience: "Aconite's security expertise helped us to rapidly identify the technologies and processes that Marks and Spencer needs to support innovative ways of doing business more securely with our customers, suppliers, partners and employees."
Following the success of the project, Aconite and Marks & Spencer created a joint venture to market the resulting methodology, policies and user navigation tool. Offerings will enable other organisations to create their own security architectures and provide the building blocks for implementation.
