While the rule of thumb for most Sibos exhibitors is to go "bolder, bigger and brighter", Deutsche Bank takes booth design a step further with an environmentally and socially responsible stand.
If you visit Deutsche Bank (Booth 1E11) you will see a stand made from recycled and sustainable materials, that does not compromise on style.
The booth is made from prefabricated, frameless light weight modular materials, reducing the transport space and weight, thereby reducing the transportation carbon footprint. Recyclable and reusable materials were used to manufacture the stand, which following the conference will be donated to a local charity.
Deutsche Bank achieved the first paperless booth at Sibos2008 in Vienna. This year the bank will be completely carbon neutral. Deutsche Bank has been awarded a climate neutral certificate from First Climate, an integrated carbon asset management company. All of the emissions generated in the course of Sibos 2009 in Hong Kong, amounting to 473 tonnes of GHG, have been off-set.
The carbon has been off-set by an investment in a Gold Standard CDM emission reduction project in China - the 45 MW Wind Project.
Come see Deutsche Bank talk about how they are "Thinking Today about Tomorrow" at Sibos Hong Kong 2009.
