UK financial services firm Skandia used technology from Parsec and Microsoft to develop a Web-based funds supermarket and improve online information delivery to Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).

Skandia commissioned Parsec Systems to create a secure extranet for IFAs and clients. The site enables customers to see an up-to-date valuation of their Skandia plan and provides online fund switching. In addition, Skandia has developed a fund supermarket which also enables IFAs to buy a range of Skandia products online.
