I disagree with this view.

No one can see the future, and if you have a business idea or opportunity now, here in the UK, get on with it. The future will arrive and that is inevitable. If you wait and worry, you may miss your own future opportunity. If it works here you can move it, and if it doesn’t you have learned a lesson, then try again. 

Hi Bo, of course they can be digital, but successful businesses always supply what the customers and market demands. Sometimes that means you have to be patient as enforced change normally fails. That is what happened last time the attempt to remove cheques was proposed. History has it, that, the person who proposed last time it was physically challenged by an irate pensioner with a walking stick in a post office 😊

We have a market that simply is used to and like "cheques". This development takes the friction out of the process, and you will now see some interesting innovation appear, I am sure. 

This development adds to the market changes that are improving instant payment, and associated settlement finality guarantees, which the customers of every bank are demanding.  

No doubt, if succesful, they will become known as Scousers? 

The irony of this is that banks and insurance companies can register secure domains - see https://www.ftld.com/ NAB could have already been using nab.bank as their core URL and that could certainly have saved the "streuth mate, we've screwed up" moment......

In our test flights we found that whilst we could carry a debit card, land the drone, and release the envelope. However, once the drone took off the "hot-air" from the downdraught blew the envelope away. Disappointed that carrier pigeons were not considered as a green alternative to compliment the brand name?

Wait and see, and its not long either.... 

Unlike Tesco's Bank, fiddling with the balances is clearly encouraged at Atom bank?
