Tesco Credit Card works out at 1.5% rewards rate on Tesco purchases. Much better than the Amazon card being touted.

Citizens do not want a Central Bank Digital Currency unless it is NON PROGRAMMABLE. We do not want a programmable CBDC where Governments will have total control over citizens money because they then have the power to switch off, delete, tax, prevent spendings etc.

So where did all the money go? Have Authorities recovered anything? After 11,196-years of inflation it will be worthless.

Strange that none of these organsiations admit what actually caused the IT downtime. Was it a problem with the card providers validation application or was it a cyber attack?

Citizens in the know are against any 'programmable' CBDC. The reason is that it transfers ultimate power to Government to control citizens by controlling their access to and usage of money. Giving the State the ability to stop specific transactions, restrict expenditure levels and prevent expenditure on specific items is anathema to citizens. Citizens are happy with non-programmable CBDC although in reality and practise a high proportion of financial transactions are already performed digitally thus negating the need for a Government controlled programmable CBDC.

There are many devices available to reduce the risk of cyber attack. It's just a metter of investment and many organisations fail to do so. Devices are readily available, such as ThreatArmor, to block incoming traffic from IP addresses from known sites with a rap sheet record of cyber malfeasance. These devices should also be implemented inside the corporate network perimeter to monitor outgoing traffic to prevent communication with known external IP addresses with a rap sheet record.

Ridiculous having a high cap. The fixed fee should be extremely low, say 5 cents, so that small transactions can be processed.

Get with it! Citizens do NOT want a CBDC if it is programmable. We already effectively have digital currency as a high proportion of payments are now done using digital cards. The huge danger of a programmable CBDC is that it takes away freedom from citizens and hands control over to the State. Not only can they control how, when, where you spend they can also cancel your account and then you are snookered if cash is no longer available.

All very well and smart thing to do but iusers need to be trained on it's use as ChatGPT does give erroneous answers sometimes. So it requires human intelligence and knowledge to be able to be critical and assess whether results are accurate and correct. Blindly accepting ChatGPT's output can lead to serious blunders. Used wisely it's an awesome tool that boosts productivity.

When the Government moves to a 'programmable' CBDC (but hopefully citizens can stop it) then every citizen must have the right to a bank account. That could be a commercial bank, a state bank or a bank set up that is owned by citizens (like a cooperative bank). But no-one should be excluded by law from having a bank account somewhere.
