This is positive. I have for some time said a central bank endorsed digital currency is the way forward> this potentially is a great (and cheaper) way to distribute money to where its needed and this is more importnat than ever right know for obvious reasons. It can help stregthen the economy, make tax more efficient and help to reduce fraud. It does need standards and global agreements but the potential advantages clearly outwiegh the disadvantages.

This could be the way forward. I have always belived that a central bank endorsed digital currrency is the way forward and that Libra with modification could be one (ideally you need several). Mature digital currencies are more efficient and can get money to the recipient much quicker. This is more relevant now for obvious reasons. Digital currencies have tremendous advantages in aid distribution. Could this be the time when crypto becomes mainstream and cash fades away?
