FSB detailed timelines for G20 global regulatory initiatives

The Financial Stability Board (FSB) delivered the following documents to the G20 leaders for the St. Petersburg summit:

  • Letter from the FSB Chair, Mark Carney on the progress of financial reforms - this letter sets out the financial reforms since the crisis and outlines the key outstanding issues requiring the G20 leaders’ attention;
  • Narrative progress report on financial reforms - this report sets out the framework of financial reforms that the FSB is coordinating at the request of the G20 leaders, as well as the remaining steps necessary to finalise the reforms;
  • Overview of progress report - this detailed report describes the progress made regarding the implementation of the financial reforms aimed to enhance financial stability; and
  • A traffic light status report - this status report sets out in tabular form the present state of progress made in global policy development and implementation of financial regulatory reforms and what global or national implementation is required.
