ISA issues certainly continue to be a hot potato right now, this week has seen extensive press coverage about a Which? ISA survey in which they assessed the knowledge of the bank ‘financial advisers’ on the rules surrounding cash ISAs. Ok, it was a small survey sample of 104, but worryingly only three out of the 104 bank advisers questioned were able to give correct answers to all four very straightforward questions. Do they not know the answers or do they not want us to be transferring our ISA’s?
I had a chat earlier this week to Dan Hyde from "This is money", he wanted to know if ISA transfers could be done quicker and in a more streamlined fashion or if it really isn’t possible. There is absolutely no reason why not as you will see from my comments in this article: http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/savings-and-banking/article.html?in_article_id=523403&in_page_id=7&position=moretopstories
