HSBC's UK customers had trouble using ATMs and accessing their accounts online over the weekend. Details are sketchy: we don't know how long the problem lasted, what caused it or how many people were affected.
The bank's keeping schtum, telling us no details will be provided until a full investigation is concluded, which should take a couple of weeks.
A spokeswoman did say they were sorry though.
