Implementing path based Routing to have split cutover

Web Applications which need only some part of its modules migrated, with still rest of the modules not migrated.

For this scenario. Path based routing help solve the situation.

For Instance www.webportal.com/Moudle1 to /Module10 - Being routed to Cloud

And www.webportal.com/Moudle11 to Module 40 - -Being Routed to onprem.

This can be implemented in Applciation Gateway or Load balancer or Reverse proxy, depending on the appliance in use.

By setting the "/Module1" for example as pattern catch and then Redirect the url to the intended endpoint.

Once all modules are migrated, the whole website will run from the desired destination. Till that point, this solution allows us to point ceratin modules to one destination and other modules to a different destination
