Is short selling really bad for my investments' health?
Following on from my previous blog...
I have checked with my fund manager (a rather large Scottish institution), and they confirmed to me that there was no stock lending to support short selling.
I presume they meant across the board, rather than just from my own rather meagre portfolio. I'd be interested if other members of our community get the same response from their fund managers.
If this were the case, I wonder where the short sellers are getting their liquidity from?
