POWER INDUSTRY IN AFRICA

The growing addiction on data, communication and digitalization results in the increased consumption of electric power. This results in growing demand for electricity not only in industrial areas and cities, but in rural areas which frequently have no, or very limited access to electricity.

At the same time resonate stronger and stronger te request to use RENEWABLE POWER sources which frequently demand bigger space alocation, especially if speaking about the standard solar PV instalations. This is why so many RURAL AREAS are being considered good for the placement and allocation of the SOLAR parks, because of low population density. Speaking about AFRICA one of the SOLAR HIDDEN TREASURES is the SAHARA DESERT.

The question why no large scale instalation was realized, despite of multiple trials supported by heavy funding and participation of governments, industrial leaders and investors, is another question, but speaking about questions did you know when the solar power station was described first?

It was described in the trilogy THE DOOM OF MANKIND written by Czech Authhor Tomáš Hraby and the book was probably never translated into other languages, which is a pity becuase there are many more interesting and highly acurate predictions
