Facial recognition authentication in bank branches?

As the facial biometric authentication is developing, I can foresee a scenario, when the face of the customers are scanned by a corner camera as they step into a bank branch.

The authentication is done this way and when the customer comes to the counter, and the bank employee could immediatelly see the customer name, portfolio, next best offer and greet with "Hello, Mr Jones".

A piece would come real from the movie Minority Report.

See where you're coming from but the report does state 'employees and contractors and protect sensitive data at the sites'.

Yes I got that, but why not use the same technology for pre-authenticate the customers in the bank branch?

This solution is too over the top, in my opinion.

Also, it made me laugh thinking how it would be so embarassing (for the customer) for this device to fail in case the customer gets a facelift or fishlips surgery...
