Credit Mutuel Arkea installs Maporama Web Services 2004 for i-mode services

Maporama International, the world's leading Enterprise Location-Centric Services ASP (Application Service Provider), announced today that bank Credit Mutuel Arkea selected Maporama Web Services 2004 to develop new location-based I-Mode services. The objective is to facilitate the access to more than 3000 locations in this distribution network (bank agencies, ATMs and stores using the Moneo e-wallet system).

New Services to Get Closer to Clients

Credit Mutuel Arkea decided to provide its clients with a new I-Mode service in five French regions. "Our customers and prospects have the ability to transmit their location data, to find the nearest bank agency without having to type any address on their mobile phones. This new feature allows us to answer the requests of our customers that now really appreciate using our cartographic tools," says Anne Appere, product manager at Credit Mutuel Arkea.

Quick and Flexible Implementation With Maporama Web Services

After the successful online launch of the first applications on the Internet and I-Mode, the bank is now willing to enhance the offered features and chose Maporama Web Services 2004 to develop this application internally.

Fully compatible with SOAP/XML communication standards, Maporama Web Services can be successfully used by any current development language (C++, C#, Visual Basic, PHP, ASP, etc.) and implemented on any back-end system (.NET, Java, etc.). Maporama Web Services has also been designed to quickly implement location-based services thanks to a complete compatibility with any localization platforms (GSM, Cell ID, GPS, etc.).
